In 8 days I'll be heading off to Chiang Mai, Thailand to finally return to the country God introduced me to several years ago in a two week missions trip.
This time, I'll be doing a film internship with Create International- hopefully editing evangelistic film for un-reached people groups. God began drawing me to this program at the beginning of my freshman year when I saw a post card for Create International hanging on a bulletin board in Lane, Gordon College's cafeteria. Ever since then, I've felt God prodding me to go. And now I am, by God's grace and provision. And I'm so excited.
This is my account of my adventures, but this post isn't all about me. There's a part where you come in. A professor told my Prep for Summer Missions class to raise prayer support. I'm going to be doing spiritual work in a spiritual world and I've seen the power (and therefore, the importance of) prayer.
If you are willing, I want you to commit to pray for me for the next 2 months. There are a lot of things to pray for-protection, discerning God's will, making friends, overcoming culture shock, resting, drawing closer to God... you name it. I need as many people praying for me as I can get, there is prayer in numbers and there is power at the throne of grace. Hallelujah :) .
